The 2022 AGM of the Football Association of Ireland will resume on Thursday 15th December at 7pm for the purpose of ratifying Directors for appointment to the Board of the FAI.
The following candidates have been nominated for appointment to the Board:
Professional Football Chamber: Niamh O’Mahony has been nominated to replace Richard Shakespeare who is not seeking re-election.
National Bodies (SFAI) Chamber: Tom Browne was originally appointed in 2021 for one year and is now being nominated by the SFAI for a term of two years.
Independent Directors: The following Independent Directors, who were appointed in 2021 for one year, have also been nominated by the Nominations Committee for a term of two years: Packie Bonner, Gary Twohig, Robert Watt.
Subject to vetting by the Electoral Committee, these candidates will be proposed for ratification by the Members at the resumed AGM.
