BIG SOUTH EAST DERBY THE FEATURE OF COLLEGES CUP SEMI FINAL DRAW

The meeting of the two South East Technological Universities in Waterford and Carlow is the mouth-watering tie in the Colleges FAI Perpetual Cup semi-final draw.

Carlow have won the top cup competition on eight occasions since 2010 and the last occasion was in 2020 so head coach Sean Keane will be aiming to chalk up another success. While Waterford last claimed the trophy in 2019.

Confidence will be high among Keane's charges as they have already beaten Waterford 3-1 in their Premier League meeting at the SETU Arena earlier this season.

The other semi-final pairs Atlantic TU-Donegal against Munster TU-Cork, two sides who haven’t tasted success in this cup since their last wins in 2006 and 2007 respectively.  

All the games are set to take place next week when dates and kick off times are confirmed.
