TALISMAN Paulie Murphy was the North End United hero as his brace of goals - one a penalty -helped overcome a stern challenge from Carlow League side Killeshin United in the LFA Junior Cup.
Killeshin FC went up up after 12 minuntes and it wasn’t until the 59th minute that the Wexfordmen levelled the match.
North End carved out the better of the chances but it took a penalty in the 75th minute to decie the tie with Murphy keeping his nerve to dispatch the ball to the net to ensure North End’s place in the fourth round of the provincial competition.
