Ukek strikes for Bluebell to land Charlie Cahill Cup

Richmond Park, Inchicore hosted the Leinster Senior League Charlie Cahill Cup Final on Saturday afternoon with the men from Bluebell triumphing over local rivals St Francis in a very tight encounter.
The only goal of the game was netted in the opening period by Josh Ukek who finished off a flowing move from defence to attack by the Red Cow side with Ukek squeezing the ball home from a narrow angle after arriving perfectly timed at the back post
The celebrated trophy named after legendary legislator Charlie Cahill , the league’s former chairman who was also LFA President and FAI President during a stellar career as a legislator, and his daughter Suzanne was on hand to perform the honours of presenting the trophy to the winning Bluebell United captain
