Colleges FAI Bob Eustace Shield Final
ATU-GALWAY ‘B’ 0 COLAISTE IDE FINGLAS 2
The heady days of some years ago when Colaiste Ide operated successfully in the top flight of Colleges and Universities Football maybe gone for now but a win in the Colleges FAI Bob Eustace shield certainly gave long serving head coach Danny Crowley plenty of satisfaction.
The Finglas based college defeated ATU Galway B side 2-0 in the decider at Athlone Town Stadium with the goals both coming after the break the first from Ifasanmi Benson’s clinical finish on 75 minutes followed by a Nathan Sargent penalty in the final eight minutes.
