EOIN HAYES: NETTED A BRACE ON RETURN FROM INTERNATIONAL DUTY IN BULGARIA

The eagerly awaited FAI Junior Cup game was dominated by the home side throughout.

They went in front in the 40 minutes when Harvey Cullinane scored with a well taken free kick from 20 yards.

In the second half, the home side continued to take game to Town. With Junior International Eoin Hayes in top form he showed his skill and strength when he raced into Town area in 70th minute and slipped ball past the keeper to the net.

Newmarket wrapped up game in 86th minute with Hayes scoring his second to put them comfortably into 4th Round, where they are joined by Avenue United.

In the Maloney Garden Machinery Premier League Avenue had a facile 8 - 0 win over Tulla United.

Avenue scorers Mark Roche (3) Callum Barrett (2), and solos from Gary Roche, Dylan Barry and Stephen Barry.
