EXCELLENT fare at Paddy’s Hill in the Leinster FA Under 19 Cup where visitors Clonee United came from behind to advance in the provincial knock-out competition.

On a bright sunny, but Cold Sunday afternoon, James Timmons had given the Ports the lead following an excellent through ball and the slightest of touches was enough to guide the ball to the back of the Meathmen’s net with appeals for offside dismissed.

But Clonee had played the better football up to that point and they continued to probe and press and their expansive brand of football asked more and more questions of the home side.

Greg Falemski restored parity before Alex Conway added a deserved brace and Stuart Forrester put the icing on the cake with a fourth to confirm Clonee United’s progress in the competition.
