Calry and Carbury share spoils at MacSharry
In the Sligo Southern Hotel Super League Carbury FC were hoping to narrow the distance between themselves and MCR when they entertained Calry Bohs at Mac Sharry Park on Saturday night.
Hopes were even brighter when on 17 minutes Tyler Stallard opened the account for Carbury and Jason Lyons made it 2-0 on 32 minutes leaving Carbury well in control at the break.
Calry Bohs started with a more energetic mood and flung the doors wide on 50 minutes with a superb goal from Paddy Woulfe and on 66 minutes Bryan Lynch turned the game on its head with a superb equaliser.
Both sides continued to attack and indeed Bryan Lynch could have netted again but in the end it was a share of the spoils.
This was a fantastic turn around by Calry Bohs, but Carbury will view it as 2 points lost. Carbury now have the same number of games played as league leaders MCR, Carbury on 30 points are still 9 points behind the Green & Whites and by close of business tomorrow that could well be 12 points adrift.

MCR on 90 minutes wrapped up the points when Kalium Burns completed a good day at the office for the Green and Whites final score 4-0.
Cartron United travelled to Coolaney United in what was a cracker of an encounter. Coolaney were now in top form giving nothing away and a draw looked written all over this but in the 96 minute Cartron United were awarded a penalty hotly disputed by the home side. Enda Mc Gowan stepped and promptly dispatched the penalty to the back of the net Coolaney Utd 1 Cartron Utd 2 result.
