FAI Grassroots provides clarity on Registration rules & periods for all Winter and Summer Leagues

The new Winter Schedule prvdes some clarity regarding the new re-registration windows in place for next season for Grassroots players.

FAI Grassroots Director Ger McDermott has provided the slides describing and illustrating the new registration periods and rules to be implemented from 1st of December 2022 for Summer Leagues (Season 23) and from Season 23/24, starting August 2023 for Winter Leagues.

This presentation, embedded below, is the culmination of a long and deep process of data gathering, problem identification, stakeholder consultation and solution analysis. The main problems identified and now being addressed are the consolidation of over 30 different dates and registration windows, simplification of registration steps from 5 to 2 and the language and terminology around the registration process.
