Carbury too strong for Real Tubber in Super League

IN THE Sligo Southern Hotel Super League, Carbury FC took on Real Tubber FC in MacSharry Park on  Saturday night and took an early lead when  Garreth Kelly scored with his effort after ten minutes.

Two minutes  later Jason Lyons increased Carbury’s lead and they began to dominate matters. Tyler Stallard struck in The 35th minute to leave Carbury three up at half time.

Brian Henry Pulled One Back In the  60th Minute To Bring Real Tubber Into The Game  but Carbury Had Other Ideas With Arian Gorman Increasing  their Lead In The 73rd Minute followed by  Christopher Kelly Strike With Four Minutes  Remaining sealing The Victory For Carbury

Ballisodare United Were at Home League Leaders MCR Who were Hoping to Maintain their unbeaten Run. Ballisodare Got Off To A great Start And Were unlucky Not To Have gone in Front On Two Occasions with Conor Davey’s Early Effort and Then Hitting The Crossbar .

MCR picked up the pace and  Inform Striker  Jordan Harte Got Proceedings Underway With his Strike to put  MCR One Up After fifteen Minutes. Hayden Cawley Made It Two before Donagh Crowne Gave MCR a three-nil Lead At Half Time.

Crowne Was On The Mark Again Five Minutes Into the a second Half  Scoring His Second. Seven Minutes Later Conor Davy Pulled One Back For Ballisodare But Donagh  Crowne was On the Mark Again Fifteen Minutes Later Completing His HatTrick on the night.  

Two Minutes Later Ballisodare Were Awarded a penalty in Which Gary Cavanagh Converted To Close the deficit. Both Sides Created More Chances but neither Scored and MCR Secured The three Points On The Night And Maintain Their Unbeaten Record

 Calry Bohs Were At Home To Cliffoney Celtic And  With Conditions Tough At Times  Meant Both Sides Not Scoring Despite Several  Chances Created leaving It a Scoreless First Half. Calry’s Jack Mc Govern Broke The Deadlock In The 49th Minute Following some Good Play.

Cliffoney Battled On and Got their Equaliser  In The 68th Minute Through Kevin Gavigan tomBring Cliffoney Back Into The Game. With 17 Minutes Left Calry Bohs Were awarded a Penalty and Eoin Nicholson Calmly Scored From The Spot Adding To His Goal Tally. It was Nip and Tuck for the Last ten Minuyes But Calry Held On to Take the Three Points On The Day.

 Cartron United Took On Aughanagh Celtic In The afternoon Fixture At MacSharry Park.The First Half Remained Scoreless Despite Both Sides Creating Chances They could Not Break Down  Each Others Defences.

Twenty Minutes Into The Second Half Nathan Hargadon Gave Cartron the Lead with His Strike  Following  A Good Passage of Play. Aughanagh  Kept Battling On and Were Unlucky With Some Of Their Chances.With Three Minute Remaining  Ryan Lynch Thunderbolt Strike Increased Cartron’s Lead And Secured The Three Points on The Day.

 The Manor Rangers And Coolaney United Fixture Was Cancelled Due To Pitch Deemed  Unplayable.

  In The Sligo Pallets Premier League Carrick Town played Strand Celtic Reseves  in Dromahair Astro on Saturday night 

Carrick recovered from the concession of an early Strand goal by Micheal O’Keefe to reply with a hat trick  from David Regan and a brace from Shane Beirne to take the 3 points On The Night. Credit to the young Strand side who played some great football but were undone by some decisive finishing from the Carrick side.

 Ballygawley Took The Three Points In Their Clash Against Kilglass Enniscrone in A Tight Enough Battle between The Sides. Ballygawley Started Well And Took The Lead.

After 15 Minutes following some a nice Play Wth A Strike From Cathal Davey. Davey Was On the Scoresheet again 15 Minutes Later When He Struck His Free Kick into The Top Corner To Leave His Side Two Up At Half Time. Kilglass Enniscrone Rallied The Troops And Started Better in the Second Half and Were Rewarded For their Efforts When Karl Colleary Pulled One Back For His Side.

Both Sides Created Chances And Played Some Nice Football And Then On the 80th MinutecPaul Flanagan Was Taken Down Inside The Box and Ballygawley were Awrded A Penalty. Cathal Davey Scored From The Spot Getting His Hat Trick and Sealing The Victory For Ballygawley Celtic.

Dromahair FC And Valley Rovers Played Out A Real Spectacle  In Dromahair with Nine Goals On Display including Two Hat Tricks. Donnacha Devaney Opened The Scoring After Three Minutes for Dromahair But The Lead Was shortlived When Valley Rovers  Were Awarded A penalty In the 5th Minute Which Ciaran Jennings Scored To Level Matters. Stephen Mullen Put Dromahaire Ahead On The 41st Minute And Give His Side The Half Time Lead.

Jennings Equalised On the 49th. Minute And Added another On The 56th Minute Completing His Hat Trick. Valley Pushed Further Ahead When Joey Reilly Scored  their Fourth on The 65th Minute. Five Minutes Later Devaney Pulled One Back For Dromahaire And He Completed His Hat-trick In The 85th Minute To Level The Game.

Dromahair Were Awarded A Free Kick On The 89th Minute and Jamie Clinton Hit A Superb shot  To Win The Game In A Very Entertaining Game Between Both Sides.

 Ballymote Celtic Came From Two Goals Behind To Claim The Three Points Aginst Calry Bihs Reserves. It Was Inform Stiker Joe Kilcullen  For Calry Bohs Reserves who Scored Twice in the  First Half Giving The Visitors The Half Time Lead. Ballymote Came Out In the Second Half And Put Three Goals Past The Calry Bohs Keeper Two Goals From Jack Hever And A Goal From Cian Kilcoyne Secured The Points For The Ballymote Men.

 Third Place Benbulben Fc Played Hosts To League Leaders Gurteen Celtic At Mac Sharry Park And It Was Gurteen Who Took The Three Points Today with A Fine Display Of Football And  Nine Goals On Show.

A Hat Trick For Dylan Walsh , Two Goals from Billy Flynn and A Goal Each From Matt Henry and Conor Walsh Secured The Victory For  The Gurteen Side. Benbulben’s Fola Ayorinde was On the Mark Again  today Along With A Goal From Kamil Bajdak.

 Chaffpool Were at Home To Glenview Stars and It was The Visitors who Took The lead through Jake Drew On The 25th Minute. Eoin Carty Level Matters Just Before Half Time for Chaffpool. Both Sides Battled Well in The Second Half And a with 15 Minutes Remaining Cathal Brennan Scored The Winner For Chaffpool United Earning his Side The three Points On The Day.

In The FAI JUNIOR CUP Strand Celtic were at home In the Fourth Round to Clodiagh Rangers and the Strand side advanced to the next round of the  Junior Cup with an Impressive .

Two goals each from Leo Doherty and Niall Mc Dermott an a goal each from Aaron O ‘oyle and Fiachra Cogan ensured  Strand Celtic’s pathway to the next round.
